Counselling

Access to expert counselling and support can effectively deal with employee issues that are impacting how individuals perform and relate to others in the organisation. Included in this is the way in which an individual is dealing with stress. These issues, if not addressed, can have significant detrimental affects on psychological well-being, team morale and performance.

We offer a full counselling service to organisations seeking support for their workforce, or wanting to reduce sickness related absences in the workplace. Total confidentiality is guaranteed and all counsellors are suitably qualified and affiliated to recognised regulatory bodies.

In relation to the particular issue of stress, it is now well documented as having an adverse impact upon the quality of one's work life, undermining attendance and affecting performance at work. Excessive stress can cripple productivity in organisations. In personal terms it can reduce levels of motivation and, if ignored, lead to serious stress-related illness.

That said, many ill-informed claims have also been made about what stress is and how it affects people's motivation, mental health, well-being, and their ability to perform competently at work.

We aim to provide clear solutions based on proven research rather than empty claims. We recognise the importance of tackling stress in the workplace by raising employees' awareness of the issue and exploring means by which employees can better cope on a day-to-day basis.

To this end, we offer Stress & Coping workshops, developed with specific client needs in mind.
