Competency-Based Interviewing
Do you want your staff to understand and be able to effectively use competency-based interviewing techniques? Do you want to run successful recruitment strategies independently?
Now well-established as an assessment technique, competency-based interviewing is widely acknowledged as one of the most effective interviewing approaches developed.
Our 1-2 day training programmes are custom-designed for each organisation and ensure that delegates have a good grounding in the competency-based assessment approach.
As well as some theoretical grounding, the training programmes involve extensive skills practice to ensure that delegates leave feeling confident to deliver interviews without any further interventions.
The bespoke nature of our progammes ensures that training focuses on the particular interviews utilised by the respective organisation rather than utilising generic interviews which are of limited worth to those working with them.
Assessor Training
Tired of using external assessors and would rather develop the skills internally?
When working with organisations in the delivery of assessment centres we often encourage the client to act as assessors or observers at these events. Our Assessor Skills programmes are designed with these individuals in mind, providing them with the necessary skills to make accurate and objective decisions about candidates.
Whilst the skills learned are transferable, programmes are custom-designed for each organisation to reflect their own assessments centre activities.
Psychometric Test Accredidation (Test Administration / Level A)
Do you want to be able to administer psychological testing yourself?
We offer accredited training that leads to the British Psychological Society's recognised qualification of competency in occupational testing (Level A Certificate in Occupational Testing).
Successful completion of the 5-day training programme enables individuals to purchase and use a wide range of ability tests and interest questionnaires currently available on the market.
We also offer accredited training leading to the British Psychological Society's Certificate in Occupational Testing (Test Administration). This focuses on the practical administration and scoring of tests and can contribute towards attainment of the Level A Certificate in Occupational Testing.
