Recruitment and assessment services: applying business psychology

If people are one of your most important assets, effective recruitment is key to retain your competitive advantage.

A successful recruitment strategy is more than just selecting the right candidate.

It is about clearly defining the role and attracting the right talent for the job.

We partner with clients in articulating the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of a given role, and translating these into a set of core competencies against which candidates can be assessed.

We profile and assess individuals using tools like stakeholder meeting simulation exercises involving actors, interviews, personality questionnaires, psychometric tests and desk-based assessments, many of which are integrated into an assessment centre.

We don't believe in innovation for the sake of it. However, we do believe that sometimes clients can benefit from innovative and bespoke solutions. For this reason we are always prepared to propose an innovative or technology based solution when in the best interest of the client. For example, we are able to simulate a day in the life for any given role by simulating the sorts of meetings, phone calls, e-mails and other paperwork those in the role would typically have to deal with. Designing assessment solutions on this model will undoubtedly give you the best value for money.

Our expert occupational psychologists can design assessment solutions targeted at all levels, from clerical administrative through to director and all levels in between, including graduate recruitment.

We have highlighted some of our recruitment and assessment services below:

As well as designing assessment exercises and centres, we can also deliver any of these components as part of our services. Alternatively, we can support you developing these skills internally so that you can manage and run recruitment and assessment activities independently of us.

If you are simply looking for the perfect venue for your assessment centres, why not consider the Mendas Centre?
