In addition to our successful bespoke recruitment and people development services, Mendas is pleased to now offer a brand new profiling and assessment drop-in facility. This is a completely unique service giving organisations the chance to assess and profile individuals quickly and easily using the expertise and insights of independent business psychologists.

What exactly does The Profiling Clinic do?

It’s a fast-turnaround, in-depth method of assessing individuals, requiring very little input and involvement from you. Within a matter of days, the Profiling Clinic enables organisations to rapidly identify strengths, limitations and areas for growth for any individual currently employed or short-listed for employment.

What insights are provided by the Profiling Clinic?

Our new Profiling Clinic allows you to send as many candidates for assessment and profiling as you like – as few as one to several hundred. Each candidate will be individually assessed over the course of a day by a team of psychologists using interviews, questionnaires, interactive work simulations, and paper-based analytical exercises. For this reason alone, it provides much richer assessments than are offered by traditional profiling services.

You can choose between two assessment packages:

Emerald Profile

This assessment measures how effective candidates are at:

• Working out what is going on • Seeing the bigger picture • Making the right decisions to get things done • Getting thing done through drive • Planning and organising to get things done • Building effective relationships • Communicating in writing • Communicating verbally

Candidates are assessed using the following approach:

• Completion of an on-line personality questionnaire

• Profiling interview with a psychologist

• Work simulation meeting with one stakeholder played by a professional actor

• Written analytical exercise

The Emerald Profile serves for the assessment of a wide array of roles including team leaders, sales executives, analysts and middle managers.

Ruby Profile

This profiling package broadens the above to incorporate higher level leadership skills. Specifically, the same eight areas as the Emerald Profile are assessed plus:

• Managing performance to get things done

• Leading and inspiring others

• Influencing others

Candidates are assessed using similar tools as the Emerald Profile but with two work simulation meetings pitched at a more challenging level.

The Ruby Profile is orientated towards the assessment of Senior Managers, Executives, and others with ‘high-flyer’ or leadership potential.

What outputs will I receive?

• A narrative report identifying key strengths, limitations and areas for growth, a copy of which will be sent to both you the client, and the candidate

• A DVD of the interactive assessments to help candidates further enhance their self-understanding, and to address some of the development needs identified

• A statistical report detailing each assessment score

All candidates will also have access to an on-line development resource which they can draw upon to help address the developmental needs identified during the assessment.

Optional extras include:

• A more detailed narrative report describing all strengths, limitations and developmental needs identified

• A face-to-face feedback session in which findings are explored and discussed further with each candidate

• A “wash-up” meeting attended by one of our psychologists to help make final recruitment or promotion decisions when several candidates are being considered
