Mendas offers many benefits as standard for all new joiners:
Holiday
In addition to Public Holidays, Mendas offers a holiday allowance of 25 days per annum (to be pro-rated for part time staff). The holiday year runs from January to December.
Stakeholder pension
Mendas has a non-contributory Stakeholder Pension Scheme to which all permanent staff are able to contribute. Additionally, the company operates a ‘salary sacrifice’ scheme by which Mendas will contribute Employer National Insurance savings arising from an employee’s declared salary reduction.
Staff development
Mendas is dedicated to the development of its staff. One tangible commitment to this is the provision of a development allowance for permanent staff. This currently stands at 12 days per annum with development activities agreed in advance with the respective staff member’s line manager. The year against which development days are booked runs from January to December.
Interest-free travel loan
An interest-free travel loan is available to permanent staff members upon request. Monthly deductions will be made from the respective staff member’s net salary for the duration of the travel-card.
Bonus Scheme
Mendas operates a bonus scheme for permanent members of staff.
Cycling Safety course
Free cycling safety courses are offered to members of staff that would like to cycle to work. The course will include route planning advice from a cycling safety expert.
