What is your passion in psychology?
Most of my work is spent in the training arena and my passion is motivating people to realise that they can make and create opportunity and can have great influence in how they develop and their success and hence in their own motivation. Changing behaviours and attitudes allows us to make situations work and many of my programmes have this focus.
What are you proud of?
That I was able to ski on a red slope after 5 days. I am not a terribly sporty person in the soccer or rugby sense - so to find a sport that I was good at in my mid forties was brilliant.
What is an usual job you've had?
Massaging warm, cooked peas on a long conveyor belt we were supposed to be looking for the bad peas as it was a canning factory. We were often bored so moving them about in a therapeutic way seemed like a good distraction.
