Mendas Assessment and Training Centre
Mendas offers its own venue in central London - Brownlow House purpose-built for use as an assessment/development centre, for interviewing and for training purposes.
Located on High Holborn in Central London, Brownlow House offers high definition, remote-operated cameras in each of its 5 training/assessment rooms. Each camera is linked through to video monitors located in a central observation room.
Central to the design of the centre has been ensuring that the experience for candidates, assessors, interviewers, training delegates and trainers alike is a positive one.
You can choose to use the facilities but provide your own assessors and materials or we can provide our assessors and design assessment materials in collaboration with you.

Facilities and layout
Main training room - Dalloway
Our Dalloway room can accommodate up to 10 delegates. The tables are modular to enable you to set the room up to suit your particular needs. The room is equipped with a data projector and flipchart. A 50 inch plasma screen allows projection of slides for training purposes as well as playing back recording of assessment and training activities. Activities can be filmed in Dalloway using the two ceiling-mounted cameras and microphones.
Syndicate/break-out rooms
4 syndicate break-out rooms are available and furnished with modular tables to enable you to set the rooms up to suit your own needs. Activities can be filmed in each of the syndicate rooms using our ceiling-mounted camera system. This is ideal for use in training events where skills practice can be recorded for later playback or monitored live from our observation room.
Observation room
Our observation room is set up with video workstations. These workstations allow delegates/trainers to observe skills practice live or to play back what is happening in one of the training rooms. Each workstation is equipped with a camera zoom and pan facility. This is particularly useful if an individual is moving around the room or using a flipchart, for example. You can even zoom in and read what a person is writing.
All workstations are also equipped with a hard-drive so that any activity being captured by the cameras can be re-played and/or recorded to one or multiple DVD copies.
Delegate lounge
During any event, we want to make the delegates as comfortable as possible. With this in mind, our delegate lounge the Monarch Lounge - has been furnished with comfort in mind. Delegates have a variety of complementary hot and cold drinks to hand, as well as plenty of newspapers and magazines to read.
In addition to the free Wi-Fi connection accessible in all of our rooms, the Monarch Lounge also has a PC with internet connection for use at any time.
